Pilates Mat

Pilates mat classes focus on developing core strength, flexibility, balance and stamina. Students learn to be aware of breathing patterns and spinal alignment while engaging the deep muscles of the core. Various props are incorporated to enhance and intensify the workout. Pilates mat is a challenging yet safe method to sculpt your body and to feel increased agility in your every day movements.

Personal Training

This one-on-one personal training class is designed specifically to each and every student, based on one’s goals and needs. All exercises are based on Pilates foundations to build a healthy core, build strength and agility.

Prenatal Pilates

During pregnancy a woman's body begins to produce various hormones responsible for causing the joints to soften which causes pregnant women to become vulnerable and prone to injury, specifically in the weight-bearing joints of the back, pelvis and lower limbs. Prenatal focused Pilates will help stabilize these areas as well as help strengthen, tone and maintain flexibility by using techniques specific to a pregnant woman's needs. Pilates will also help strengthen and build muscles used in delivery as well as help for the body’s recovery.

After pregnancy, Pilates helps the body get back into shape and helps re-strengthen the areas affected by pregnancy and delivery. This is a great way to help reconnect to the core, spend time with your little one and help find a balance in your motherhood life. Classes involve exercise with baby on a carrier, props for extra challenge and mat work.

Mommy & Me Pilates


 

Post Natal

This class helps women regain strength and energy that may have been lost during pregnancy. Classes specifically focus on rebuilding strength in the deepest abdomen muscles (the core), back and pelvic floor, releasing tension in the shoulders and neck and opening the chest.

Injury Rehabilitation

Pilates training can be an excellent way to achieve the postural re-education and muscle-balancing necessary to recover from injuries. Pilates can help alleviate pain from operative procedures, restore joint mobility and tissue integrity and help regain lost strength of muscles by strengthening supportive muscular tissues.
